Penuel Ridge is an interfaith retreat center located near Nashville, Tennessee and was founded in 1984. The name comes from the book of Genesis in which Jacob wrestled with God at a place called Penuel. The center provides a place of rest, contemplation, spiritual rejuvenation and communion with nature.

A large retreat house provides lodging and activities for individuals and groups. Private spaces are available to suit the need. The focus is on spiritual renewal and encountering God in a special way through conversation, quiet time, hiking, reading and relaxation.

Penuel Ridge also provides an outreach program through partnerships with other organizations in which work and spiritual retreats are created to provide a safe, comfortable and sacred spaces for those who need it most.
